Betnovate Cream

What is Betnovate?

Betnovate is a cream for the treatment of severe eczema, and other skin disorders such as psoriasis and dermatitis. Its active ingredient is Betamethasone. The product works immediately in the affected cells. It reduces itching and redness of the skin. Moreover, it reduces swelling.

How does Betnovate work?

As a result of a skin irritation or an allergy, eczema may occur. A substance is released in the body, causing blood vessels to dilate and as a result the skin becomes irritated. The irritated skin cells cause a swollen skin, often accompanied by redness and itching. This is often experienced as painful. Betnovate cream tackles the inflammation of the skin, thus reducing the symptoms or the symptoms disappear entirely. Betnovate is available as a cream or as an ointment. The cream is more suitable for a moist skin, while the ointment is usually applied on parts of a dry flaky skin. Betnovate C cream is temporarily not available. As an alternative you can order the generic Betamethasone C cream.

Usage

Apply a small amount of Betnovate cream to the affected skin. Afterward, wash your hands thoroughly to make sure that the cream does not come into contact with other parts of the skin. The remedy should only be used externally. Always follow the instructions of a physician. Do not use Betnovate longer than necessary, because this will increase the chance of side effects. Children should not use the cream longer than 5 days. If you use the cream in your face, you may also not use it longer than 5 days. If you do not notice any improvements after 2 to 4 weeks, contact your physician.

Side effects

The use of Betnovate may cause side effects. Your skin may become thinner after prolonged use. You may experience skin irritation such as burning, itching or stinging. Stretch marks or changes in the pigment of the skin may also occur. The side effects are different for each person. Pregnancy / breastfeeding
